Our hotel's history in Palmerston North
The Cobb Hotel, formerly The Empire Hotel, was originally the city’s first school. In 1890 the school was relocated and the building was converted into a hotel. It has been a popular hotel and garners fond memories for anyone that grew up, worked or went to university in Palmerston North.
